A spate of cat shootings have rocked residents in the Springs and Meadows areas of Dubai.
Al Barsha Veterinary Clinic said a number of pets had been brought into the surgery suffering from air rifle wounds in the last few weeks.
One cat was killed after it was gunned down near its home in the Meadows Nine gated community on Sunday.
