LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- A gay Saudi diplomat seeking asylum in the United States says he faces death if he goes home.
Ali Ahmad Asseri was stationed at Saudi Arabia's consulate in Los Angeles when he made a bid for asylum last month. He took his case public recently, sending a letter to news outlet, ABC News reported Wednesday.
