SBA Disaster Loans Available Following Secretary of Agriculture Disaster Declaration in Pennsylvania

ATLANTA - (Business Wire) The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today that federal economic injury disaster loans are available to small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives and most private non-profit organizations located in Pennsylvania due to a drought that began on May 25, 2010.

The SBA's disaster declaration includes the following counties: Adams, Bedford, Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Centre, Chester, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Mifflin, Monroe, Montgomery, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Perry, Philadelphia, Pike, Schuylkill, Snyder, Sullivan, Union, Wayne, Wyoming and York.

“When the Secretary of Agriculture issues a disaster declaration to help farmers recover from damages and losses to crops, the Small Business Administration issues a declaration to eligible entities affected by the same disaster,” said Frank Skaggs, director of SBA's Field Operations Center East.
